CYC Domino Cruise & Scottish Ritual weekend at Encinal Yacht Club

Mark your calendar now for our second annual DOMINO cruise and tournament at the Encinal Yacht Club, in the always-sunny Alameda. Encinal is also doing their Scottish (Whiskey will be served) night including authentic Scottish dinner and dancing. This is traditionally a 2-night cruise, so plan for the entire weekend. Tentative agenda includes:
- Welcome reception Friday at 5 PM
- Hangover Brunch on Saturday
- Domino tournament by the pool – Sat
- Another dockside cocktail party – Sat
- Single, double & triple malt scotch whiskey tasting
- Scotsmen’s dinner – Sat ($16 – cheap – est.)
- Prizes, awards & peer recognition
- Sunday breakfast at the Oakland Yacht Club
Scotsmen’s attire encouraged – kilts, elaborate armor, period dress
Come by boat, come by land cruiser, but be sure to come.
If you are driving over and prefer a room with a view, the Marina Village Inn is right next door to EYC, with rooms starting at $85.
Your clan leaders are Jeff “Scot Clan” Barnes and Trip “Wingman” Ames. With these two upstanding gents, almost anything outrageous can happen.
