New to racing? Time to brush up on the rules? Are the rules overwhelming? This clinic introduces you to the basic rules you will need for club races: Safety, Port/Starboard, Leeward/Windward, Overtaking Boats, Room at the Mark. There will be Q&A session after the lecture.
Lecturer: Don Wieneke
Don has been racing on the Bay for over 30 years. He has been highly competitive in numerous classes and currently races Lulu, a J105. A US Sailing trained umpire and judge Don is well versed on rules and situations that challenge them on the racecourse.
