The Corinthian's primary concern has always been yachting. Originally founded to unite small boat owners, the Corinthian now accommodates all types of yachts. Always at the fore front of sailing tradition in the Bay Area, the Corinthian founded such popular traditions as Opening Day on the Bay, The Blessing of the Fleet, and the Midwinter races. The Corinthian encourages the sailors of the future by offering affordable memberships to younger enthusiasts. And year-round sailing instruction is available to ocean-goers of all ages.

The Clubhouse dining room is the perfect setting for the Corinthian's world-class cuisine. Members savor delicious meals at reasonable prices, while enjoying the panoramic view through the dining room's enormous windows. There's no better place to enjoy a relaxing meal by the Bay. Rich in history and yachting achievement, the Corinthian Yacht Club still flourishes today. The Corinthian was founded in 1886 by a group of high-spirited young yachtsmen who wanted to promote small boat yachting in the Bay Area. As the second oldest yacht club on the West Coast, the Corinthian offers its members both sailing related services and a bountiful social calendar.  The elegant Colonial Revival clubhouse-the oldest on the West Coast-was built in 1911, and offers a spectacular unobstructed view of San Francisco Bay.

Membership: The Corinthian offers its members a number of exclusive benefits. These include 35 planned social events each year, such as the New Year's Eve Ball, the Clambake, and the unique Cooks and Waiters dinner. The Club's facilities include a spacious redwood-paneled ballroom with a stunning view of San Francisco Bay. Small-boat regattas remain a part of the Corinthian's rich sea-faring tradition, and the sailing instruction program introduces new fans to the sport every year. A wide variety of membership categories is available, all reasonably priced. We welcome you to find out more about the benefits of membership by contacting the Corinthian directly.
