Nothing evokes the sea like a tall ship, traditionally constructed from sweet-smelling wood, resiny pine pitch, and hempen rope. On June 6, we'll hear about a pair of programs that will set any sailor's mind to racing: the construction and operation of new vessels in traditional methods. CYC members: The Cup is Coming, the Cup is Coming. Among the events surrounding this fantastic opportunity is the Corinthian Louis Vuitton Cup Challengers' Ball, to be held July 27. Black Tie or Club Blazer, consuls from the challenging countries, the actual LV Cup will be there for photo ops. Not to be missed.
